Chicken Tikka

2 cloves of garlic
1-2 fresh red/green chillies
2 inch piece of ginger
½ a lemon
4 tablespoons yoghurt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 heaped teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 kilo Boneless chicken
10 Bamboo skewers


1. Take ginger, garlic, green chilli and yoghurt and make a paste in a food processor. Add chicken to paste, add olive oil and lemon juice and rest of the spices. Coat chicken well then cover and place in the fridge to marinate for couple of hours.
2. Preheat the grill to 200ºC/400ºF/gas 6.
3. Put all the chicken pieces on the bamboo skewers then put them in a large roasting tray and grill for 15-20 minutes.
4. You can also cook this chicken in a pan if you don’t have grill.
